MIB Browser, mibbrowser.exe Version 1.0.1; April 2005 Software by Carsten Schmidt http://software.ccschmidt.de Please report bugs and feature requests to: Carsten@CCSchmidt.de How does it work and what does it do? Mibbrowser is a tool that retrieves all MIB data (OIDs and values) from SNMP- capable network devices. It can be used to find out what kind of MIB data is available from a device. Simply enter the device's IP address and SNMP read community and click on START BROWSE. Use the timeout to increase the time in milliseconds between SNMP requests. End of browsing is shown by a message. You can then save the results in a file. Comments: - MS Windows 2000 also gives information about services and installed software among other things. - I have not yet implemented any error routines or hexadecimal reponse correction. Version history Version 1.0.1 April 2005 - fixed bug: after successful browsing the starting oid is reset to '1'. (Thanks to Kurt Pfeiler for reporting it) Version 1.0 March 2004 - first release
